At EMERGENCY’s Salam Centre for Cardiac Surgery we decided to march in solidarity with refugees and migrants.
We stand with the millions of people who flee a present stained by sufferance, war, persecution and embark on a perilous journey to hope.
Today, at EMERGENCY’s Salam Centre we march barefooted to reconnect with reality and free ourselves from everything that is superfluous.
With our bare-feet we want to reinstate that we are all ‘just’ humans.
