We do not currently have any vacancies at EMERGENCY Belgium. Please note: we do not accept speculative CV’s and applications. Internship vacancies will be advertised on this page.

At EMERGENCY Belgium we greatly value our interns and the crucial support they provide with their time, insight, skills, and dedication. Because of this, we structure our internships carefully, in order to guarantee a fulfilling learning experience.  As an intern at EMERGENCY Belgium you will gain work experience in a multicultural environment and in the NGO sector. In general, you should expect to develop or improve your skills with regard to:

  • Multitasking
  • Prioritising and time-management
  • Teamwork
  • Inter-personal and communications skills

You will also gain working experience and specific skills according to the role you will be taking.

Our interns are usually asked to work 3 days per week – two offsite and one from the office – for a minimum of three months (preferably six months).

All our internships are unpaid but reasonable lunch and travel expenses for the days spent at the office will be reimbursed.

Please note that for its humanitarian projects abroad EMERGENCY Belgium does NOT employ interns but only trained professionals in specific fields (healthcare, engineering, etc.).
