Violence has broken out on the outskirts of Lashkar-gah, the capital of Helmand province in southern ‪#‎Afghanistan‬.

Civilians are fleeing, and humanitarian organisations are leaving the area. The city could turn into a battlefield.

Everyday dozens of injured people are coming to be treated at EMERGENCY’s Surgical Centre for Civilian Victims of War.

We call on all parties involved in the conflict to respect our hospital, and allow it to be accessed by victims of the fighting. The precise location of the facility has been notified to all concerned parties.

Over 11 million patients treated since 1994. None of it possible without your support.
